About
I’m from Odense, the main city on the island, Fyn, in Denmark. And according to the very nice map I’m the only dane on the course, yet!
I have been teaching for many years, but stopped recently to be selfemployed. I work with web 2.0, e-learning, social networks etc.
I stumbled upon connectivism about a year ago, and it matched my thoughts about learning with the internet. Now I’m looking forward to get a good grip on what connectivism really means, and to try to ‘live’ the ideas in this course the next 4 months.
I follow a course on ITU, Copenhagen: Learning and IT along with the LTC-course.
My interest in the internet and web 2.0 started about 2 years ago. Before that my 20 years IT experience was related to business administartion and economics and to teaching Office-tools.
In my latest job I was a teacher, team-leader, and leader of a project about making my colleges ‘love’ BlackBoard. The latter was very frustrating and one of the main reasons I quit my job.
Hope to get some nice and heavy debates on learning.
